# Add a project logo

## Overview: project logo

The project logo in Project Settings lets you upload a project-specific logo that appears on reports generated for that project, which is used when you need the client logo alongside your company logo on PDF output.

* Your role must be **Admin** or **Manager**.
* You can find the menu at **Project Settings** - **Project Data** - **Upload Project Logo**.
* This changes branding on all reports generated for this project.

|| Only users with the project role **Admin** or **Manager** can upload or change the project logo.

The logo is specific to one project. Upload it separately for each project that needs it. The company logo still appears alongside the project logo.

## How to add a project logo

1. Go to **Project Settings** in the left-hand menu (bottom of the sidebar).
2. Click the **Project Data** tab at the top.
3. Scroll to the **Upload Project Logo** section.
4. Click **Upload** and select your logo file.

## Results: project logo on reports

* The uploaded project logo applies immediately to future reports
* Both the company logo and the project logo appear on PDFs (typically at the top or in the footer, depending on the report template)
* You can replace the logo at any time by uploading a new file in the same section

## Troubleshooting: project logo

| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Logo not visible on reports | Logo not uploaded, or wrong file type | Re-upload a .png or .jpg in **Project Settings** - **Project Data** - **Upload Project Logo**, then generate a new report |
| Wrong logo showing | Only the company logo is set | Upload a project logo in **Upload Project Logo**; the company logo alone does not replace it |
| Upload option not visible | Project role is below Manager | Ask a project **Admin** to raise your role to **Manager** or **Admin**, or to upload the logo for you |
