# Asset systems overview (module)

## Overview: asset systems overview

The **Asset Systems Overview** in the Asset module lets you group assets into logical systems and read aggregate checklist progress, open tasks, and signatures at system level, which is used when commissioning work is tracked by system (for example HVAC or Fire Suppression) instead of only per asset.

This page covers system records and asset linking. Checklist assignment at system level is shown in the **System checklist** column after a checklist is linked to the system record.

* Your role must be **Manager** or higher.
* You can find the menu at Asset module - **Systems overview**.
* This changes system records and which assets report into each system row.

|| Only users with the project role **Manager** or higher can perform this action.

||| The Systems overview is only available to Advanced CxPlanner users.

An asset can belong to only one System and one Sub System at a time. Open issues in this view are open tasks (also called punch list items) linked to assets in the system.
