# Move a template to another folder in Template Center

The Template Center organizes checklist templates into folders, and you can move an existing template into a different folder using the right-click menu or by dragging it, so your template library stays organized as it grows. 

|| If you're not a **Company Admin**, you can only move templates within your own **Personal Templates** folder. Moving a template in or out of a company-level folder requires the company-level **Admin** role.

## Move a template using the right-click menu

1. Locate the template you want to move.
2. Right-click the template.
3. Select **Move to another folder** from the dropdown menu.
4. In the folder picker, select the destination folder and confirm the move.

## Move a template by drag-and-drop

1. Locate the template you want to move.
2. Click and hold the template.
3. Drag it onto the destination folder and release to drop it there.
