# Use Claude-Cowork directly in CxPlanner

## Overview: Claude Cowork plugin

The CxPlanner plugin for Claude Cowork connects your CxPlanner workspace to Claude so Claude can create and update tasks, assets, and structured workflows inside a selected project.

* Your role must be company **User** or higher.
* You can find the menu at Claude Cowork - **Customize** - add plugin, then connect your CxPlanner account.
* This changes tasks, assets, and workflows inside the selected CxPlanner project.

|| All users can use Claude Cowork once the plugin is installed and their account is connected.

## How to set up Claude Cowork

1. Open **Claude Cowork**.
2. Click the **Customize** tab on the left side.
3. Add a new plugin.
4. Upload or insert the CxPlanner plugin file: [https://docs.cxplanner.com/mcp/claude-cowork-cxplanner.plugin](https://docs.cxplanner.com/mcp/claude-cowork-cxplanner.plugin).
5. Connect your CxPlanner account from the sidebar login.

## How to use Claude Cowork with a project

1. Open **Claude Cowork**.
2. Select or reference a CxPlanner project.
3. Prompt Claude to create tasks, update tasks, generate assets, or expand outlines into structured workflows.
4. Review and adjust the results in CxPlanner.

## Results: Claude Cowork

## Troubleshooting: Claude Cowork

| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot connect account | Authentication failed or session expired | Reconnect your CxPlanner account from the Claude Cowork sidebar |
| Plugin not visible | Plugin not installed or not enabled | Re-add the plugin file under **Customize** and confirm it appears in the sidebar |
| Tasks not created | No project was selected or referenced | Reference the CxPlanner project in your prompt, then retry |
| Output not structured correctly | Prompt lacked enough context | Include the project name, target folder or task list, and the structure you want |
