Create a standard project template for your company
Overview
You can define a company-wide project template in CxPlanner to ensure consistency across all newly created projects. This helps you maintain a uniform structure, including folders, settings, and workflows.

Setting a standard project is ideal when your organization wants to enforce a consistent setup across multiple projects.
- Use when creating multiple similar projects under the same company.
- Ensures consistent folder structures, settings, and configurations.
- Saves time by avoiding repetitive setup for every new project.
- Can be updated anytime to reflect changes in your company standards.
Guide - How to create a standard project
- Click on your Profile icon in the top right corner
- Expand the Company profile dropdown
- Select Standard project within the drop-down
- Choose the project you want to set as your template and edit what you want to be included
Behavior and results
The selected template will act as the default configuration for all new projects - It includes:
- Folder structure
- Document setup
- Custom field configurations
- Predefined workflows (if any)
Users can still customize their individual projects after creation, but the initial structure will follow the template.
