Camera does not work on Mobile or Tablet

Why does the camera not work



If your camera isn't working on your phone or tablet inside CxPlanner, there are usually three possible reasons. Try them out, and if they don't work, write to us in the chat.

Your mobile or tablet is not updated.
You have accidentally declined the use of the camera.
Your device is blocking the use due to security settings.
Android blocks camera access


1) Your mobile or tablet is not updated.



For security reasons, you should always update your devices. Older devices may experience challenges with selected features in CxPlanner.

Go to system settings and check for any pending updates.



2) You have accidentally declined the use of the camera.



If you have accidentally pressed "No thanks" to using the camera in your browser, you need to go into settings and activate it again.

If you're using the Chrome browser, you can do it as follows:

Go to app.cxplanner.com (your homepage).
Click on Settings (the three dots).
Go to "Privacy and security."
Go to "Site settings."
Find and activate: "Camera."



3) Your device is blocking the use due to security settings.



If you're using a Samsung tablet, for example, there may be additional security blocks. Make sure that CxPlanner has access to your camera.

Go to settings.
Choose the Privacy menu (Permission Manager).
Find CxPlanner and Chrome and make sure they are allowed to use the camera.


4) Android blocks the camera



Find the CxPlanner icon and click & hold on it. This opens a menu where you can change the camera-permissions.
