Resetting / Reverting a Signature on a Checklist

Need to undo or change a checklist signature in CxPlanner? Here’s how to do it step by step. This can be helpful when a checklist has already been signed off but requires a change—either due to a mistake or an update.


Important note: When a signature is removed, our system treats that as the "end" of the approval flow for the checklist. Any signatures added after this removal will not appear in the PDF report. This ensures document integrity, and it's important to understand how it affects your output.


Step-by-Step Instructions


Perform and Approve the Checklist


  • Approve the checklist


  • Add your signature


  • The PDF report will show this approval as the most recent and valid state



Remove the Approved Signature


  • Navigate to the checklist.


  • Click on the "Approved" status and "Remove Signature"


  • Sign again


  • Signature will be removed from the report



Re-Approve the Checklist


  • After updates or corrections, sign the checklist again.


  • Even though the checklist is now technically re-approved, this new signature will in the report (and "original" one will be removed)
