Set up a Timeline and Schedule for Data Centers in the Asset Module
Overview: data center schedule and timeline
Asset module scheduling lets you assign start and end dates to checklists across levels, import dates from Excel, and manage the plan in a Gantt timeline, which is used for Level 2-5 data center test sequences.
Assets and checklists must already exist before you plan dates.
- Your role must be Manager or higher.
- You can find the menu at Assets - date columns, or menu - Gantt Timeline.
- This changes checklist dates, Gantt bars, and dependency links. Folder-level date changes affect all underlying checklists.

Troubleshooting: data center schedule
Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
Dates are not updated correctly | Wrong level or row selected | Select the grey level row for the correct level, then set dates again |
Plan changes unintentionally | A folder was moved in Gantt | Undo by editing individual checklists, or move only the intended folder |
Plan is too complex | Too many checklist-level dependencies | Prefer level dependencies instead of many one-to-one links |
Gantt does not show all data | Levels or folders are collapsed | Expand folders in the Gantt view |
