Set tasks visibility in gantt timeline

Overview: task visibility in the Gantt timeline

The Schedule module can display tasks that have a start and end date from several modules. Task visibility settings let you show only the task types you need in your personal view.

Hidden tasks are not deleted; they remain in their original module.

Any project role can adjust their own visibility.

  • You can find the menu at Schedule - eye icon (task visibility settings).
  • This changes only your view of the schedule. Other users are unaffected.

All users can adjust their own task visibility in the schedule. This setting only affects the current user's view.

How to edit your timeline view

  1. Go to the Schedule module in your project.
  2. In the top toolbar, click the eye icon (task visibility settings).
  3. Select the task types you want to see: Schedule tasks (created in the schedule), General tasks (created in the table overview), and Module tasks (from other modules, for example checklists).
  4. Close the menu to apply your changes. The schedule refreshes and shows only the selected types.
