Archived vs closed project status

Archived and closed project status

How do I choose between Archived and Closed for a project?
Project status in Project settings lets you set a project to Open, Closed, Archived, or Template, which is used to control who can still open a project when work is paused or finished.

When to use archived and closed project status

When should I close a project instead of archiving it?
Use Closed when the project is done for now, you may reopen it, and the same people should still be on it. Use Archived only when you do not expect to open the project again and you want everyone except the owner and project administrators removed. If you are unsure, use Closed.
