Change the project name
Overview
Sometimes a project name needs to be updated—for instance, due to naming conventions, corrections, or internal client references. In CxPlanner, changing a project’s name is simple and quick.
Guide - How to change to project name
- In the sidebar, click on Project Settings
- Navigate to the Project Data module
- Scroll down to find the Project Name field and click the pencil icon next to the current project name
- Enter the new name and press Enter or click outside the field to save
Behavior and results
- The project name will be updated immediately across the platform
- The new name appears in: Dashboard overview, Project selector menu, Reports and PDF's, Emails and system logs
There is no notification sent to other users when the project name changes, so inform your team if needed.
