How do I manage templates in the Template-center?
The Template-center in CxPlanner is where you organize all your project templates, checklists, and test sheets. You can create, edit, and reuse templates to streamline your workflows across multiple projects.
When and why to use this
Why would I use the Template-center?
The Template-center is designed to help teams standardize workflows and save time.
- Create personal templates for repeated use on your own projects.
- Share templates with your company for consistent quality and setup.
- Import existing Excel XLSX checklists or test sheets directly into CxPlanner.
- Access predefined public templates provided by CxPlanner to speed up setup.
Limitations to be aware of:
- Public templates are locked for editing but can be imported into your own library.
- Available template types may vary depending on your company profile and enabled modules.
How to - step by step
Access the Template-center
- Go to your main dashboard.
- In the sidebar, click Template-center.
Create or manage a template
- Inside the Template-center, choose the type of template you want to work with:
- Project templates
- Checklists and test sheets
- Folder structures for the file-module
- Reports
- Click Create new template or open an existing one to edit.
- Share the template with your company if needed.
- To import from Excel, select Import XLSX file and upload your checklist.
Import a public template
- Create a new template.
- Select Import from other templates.
- Open the Public section.
- Choose a template and import it. Once imported, you can edit and use it in your projects.
