Resend a user invitation email

Overview


If an internal or external user hasn’t received their invitation email, you can resend it directly from the user management area. This is useful if the email was blocked, sent to spam, or entered with a typo.


Only users with company role Admin or project role Admin can resend user invitations.


When and why to use this


Resending an invitation ensures the user can access CxPlanner if the original invite was missed or failed.


  • Use this if a user reports they haven’t received their invitation.
  • The resend function will re-trigger the email with the original invite link.
  • Works for both internal and external users.
  • Invitations are only valid for a limited time (typically 72 hours).


Guide - How to re-send an invitation email:


  1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select "Users" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Locate the user you want to re-invite in the list and click "Edit" next to the user's name.
  4. Click the "Re-send Confirmation" button.

Behavior and results


  • The invite email is sent from the default CxPlanner system email address.
  • The content of the email remains the same as the first invitation.
  • If the email is still not received, ask the user to check their spam or junk folder.
  • You can repeat this action multiple times if needed.
