Tutorial: Creating and managing an Asset-based project

Overview: asset-based project tutorial

The Asset module in CxPlanner lets you create an asset-based project, define asset types, add or import assets, attach checklists, approve tests, and track issues, which is used when you need an equipment-led commissioning structure.

This guide is a quick tutorial video plus condensed steps. For Excel import details, see the asset import guides. For checklist template authoring, see Template Center tutorials.

  • Your role must be Manager or higher to create and manage the project.
  • You can find the menu at Projects - create or open an asset-based project - Assets - Overview.
  • This changes assets, checklists, System & Test view, and issues.

Only users with the project role Manager or higher can create and manage asset projects.
