How do I set up CxPlanner company license and create my first project?


This guide explains how to set up the CxPlanner platform and create your first project, including adding your company branding, configuring project details, and inviting users.


Only users with the company role Admin can perform the initial setup and create new projects.

When and why to use this


Use this process when:


  • You are logging into CxPlanner for the first time and need to configure your company profile.
  • You want to create your first project or add additional projects.
  • You need to invite and assign roles to team members.


What the system does:


  • Saves your company branding for use in all exports.
  • Creates a new project space with selected modules and custom fields.
  • Sends user invitations and assigns roles.


Limitations and notes:


  • Only company admins can perform this setup.
  • Be careful when assigning Admin roles to avoid accidental changes or deletions.
  • Sandbox projects do not count towards your license.


How to - step by step


  1. Log in to CxPlanner

Go to the CxPlanner login page and enter your credentials.


  1. Access account settings

Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Account Settings.


  1. Upload company logo

In Company Profile, upload your logo for use in exports and reports.


  1. Navigate the sidebar

Use the left sidebar to explore Home, Projects, and Templates.


  1. Create a new project

Go to Projects and click New Project. Enter the project name and optional details.


  1. Use sandbox for testing

Select Sandbox to create a test project without affecting your license.


  1. Add users to the project

In Project Settings, select Add Users and invite collaborators.


  1. Create new user

Enter the user's email, assign a role, and send the invitation.


  1. Confirm user addition

Check that the user received the email invitation and can access the project.

  • Sandbox projects are excluded from license usage.
