Use the Portfolio page to track multiple projects

Overview

How do I enable the Portfolio page and choose which projects to display?

The Portfolio page in CxPlanner allows you to monitor multiple projects in one place using analytics, charts, and AI insights. The feature must first be enabled at the company level, after which users can select which projects to track.

Only users with the required company permissions can enable this feature. All users can access the page once it is enabled.

When and why to use this

Use the Portfolio page when you need a centralized overview of multiple projects.

  • When you want to track progress across projects
  • When you want to analyze data using charts and dashboards
  • When you want to use AI insights to identify trends or risks
  • When you want to avoid opening projects one by one

Key points:

  • The feature requires the ProjectsPortfolio plugin to be enabled
  • Chart data depends on project content and enabled modules
  • Selected projects are stored locally in your browser
  • AI insights require the correct license and access

How to - step by step

Choose tracked projects

  1. Open Portfolio in the sidebar
  2. Click the settings icon (cog) in the top right
  3. Click Choose tracked projects and select or deselect projects
  4. Use Select all or Reset if needed
  5. Click Done to save

Behavior and results

Once enabled and configured, each project appears as a card with analytics and insights.

Project card content

  • Users on project - number of users
  • Task status - distribution of task states
  • Tasks: Burndown chart - progress over time
  • Checklist approval - approval status
  • AI insights - automated analysis (if available)

System behavior

  • Charts load when they come into view
  • Missing data may result in: “No data” or “Analytics data could not be loaded”
  • AI insights only appear with proper access
