How to add a note field to a checklist

When working with checklists in CxPlanner, there may be times when you need to add extra information or context that doesn’t fit into the standard checklist fields. A note field allows you to insert free text into your checklist - perfect for adding explanations, observations, or specific instructions related to a checklist item or process. This adds flexibility and helps ensure that important details are documented clearly.


How to add a note field:

  1. Open your checklist within the Template Center
  2. Click on Add test item
  3. Click on Actions
  4. Click on Note field
  5. Your note field will then get added and be ready for use
