Hit the ground running with your own Template-center, where you can manage all of your checklists and test sheets. The Template-center let's you either create your own checklists and test sheets, or use CxPlanner's default templates. What can you do in the Template-center There multiple ways to work with templates, but the main ways are: Create personal templates you use own your own projects Share templates with your company and streamline your workflows Import your ExcelSome readersCreate a new checklist template
When you have opened the Template-center you should see a view like the one below. You can navigate between the Public, Company-shared and Private templates in the different menus. You easily import your existing checklist and test sheets into CxPlanner's structure. Use the method below or contact our support-team, who will do the importing for you directly! Import yourself Click on the "Import from XLSX (Excel)" button: Import XLSX button Download the Excel template converter In the popup box select the "Download template". You can customize the overview in the settings. Access the settings with "Menu =Settings". Custom buttons You can specify whether you need more action buttons shown in the overview. E.g. the "Create task" button will create a new task within the checklist, but done from the overview area. On desktop the buttons will be in individual columns. CxPlanner provides seamless bi-directional synchronization with Excel spreadsheets. This makes it very easy to input data into the platform upfront and update it during the project. "Completed by" setting
Completed by setting In some industries, it is required to have a "completed by" option in checklists. This is often used is special industries, such as the oil & gas platforms. When this setting is enabled, then users with the project role as Designer or Contractor can only complete the checklist. After the completion, another user must then either approve or reject the checklist. You can use inline spreadsheets directly inside your checklists. This allows you customize the design and the values you need to obtain. General You can copy-paste data directly from your local spreadsheets, or just write directly in the cells. Each cell can be customized with colors and font.
