Combine 3D-models

Combining 3D models in the Files module shows multiple discipline models together in one viewer, either as a temporary quick combination or as a permanent combined folder, which is used for architecture, structure, and installation coordination.

For uploading and viewing a single model, see the 3D upload and view guide.

  • Your role must allow selecting converted 3D models. Permanent combine requires project Admin.
  • You can find the menu at Files module - select the 3D models - right-click - choose Combine 3D model or Save 3D file combination.
  • This opens a combined view. Save 3D file combination also creates a folder for later reuse.

Permanent combine is only available to users with the project role Admin.
