Commissioning with OPR, BOD (LEED, ASHRAE G0, Std 202)

Overview

How do I set up commissioning with OPR and BOD in CxPlanner?

Commissioning with OPR and BOD in the Commissioning module allows you to structure requirements, design responses, reviews, assets, tests, reports, and issues, which is used for commissioning projects that follow LEED, ASHRAE Guideline 0, or ASHRAE Standard 202.

This guide covers the basic setup and workflow for commissioning with OPR and BOD. It does not cover advanced template setup or detailed reporting configuration.

When and why to use this

Use this setup when your project needs a structured commissioning process with traceable requirements and design verification.

  • Use it for commissioning projects that support LEED, BREEAM, ASHRAE Guideline 0, ASHRAE Standard 202, or similar requirements
  • Create an asset-based project with test structures such as PFC and FPT
  • Manage Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) as project requirements
  • Use Basis of Design (BOD) to collect and review designer responses
  • Track review comments, issues, test progress, and reporting in one project
  • Enable only the commissioning tools you need for the project

  14. Attach checklist templates to your asset types.
  15. Enable Reports if you need commissioning reports or final documentation.
