Setting up recurrent checklists for a maintenance project

Overview: recurrent checklists for maintenance

Recurrent checklists on asset types automatically create the next inspection or test after approval, which is used in operations and maintenance projects for repeating work such as filter changes, oil changes, and detector checks.

Related advanced settings are also described in Configure asset checklist settings.

  • Your role must be Manager or higher.
  • You can find the menu at Asset module - Asset Types / checklist type setup.
  • This changes recurring checklist generation for assets of the configured type.

Only users with the project role Manager or higher can set up recurrent checklists.

Examples include changing oil every 3 months, changing AHU filters every 30 days, or checking fire detectors every 120 days.

How to set up recurrent checklists

  1. Open the Asset module from the sidebar.
  2. Create the needed checklist types, for example Inspection or Testing.
  3. Open Asset Types, attach the checklist template, enable duplication/recurrence, and set the recurrent interval.
  4. Create assets. Matching checklists are created with the asset.
  5. Set the checklist start date. After the checklist is performed and approved, the next one is created automatically.
