Edit assets directly in asset overview
Overview: edit assets in Asset overview
In-grid editing in Asset Overview lets you select several assets and update shared field values directly in the grid, which is used for fast corrections during commissioning when a full spreadsheet import is unnecessary.
For large replacements, use Options - Bulk Update.
- Your role must be Manager or higher.
- You can find the menu at Asset module - Asset Overview.
- This changes field values and active/inactive status on the selected assets.
What CxPlanner does during in-grid editing
- Writes the same edited value to all selected assets
- Leaves blank fields unchanged
- Uses active/inactive status to control default visibility in checklists and reporting
How to edit multiple assets in the grid
- Go to Asset Overview.
- Check the boxes next to each asset you want to edit.
- Click the relevant column in the grid.
- Enter the update. Changes apply to all selected assets.
