iOS iPhone: Login with SSO


SSO and iPhone


If your company has enabled SSO, the iOS app from the App Store cannot be used due to Apple’s restrictions on third-party authentication in native apps. However, you can still access CxPlanner from your iPhone using Safari or another mobile browser.


WARNING: If you are using SSO on iPhone then it's NOT possible to use the app from the App Store. You must use your browser and/or add CxPlanner as a bookmark. See the video or picture guide below.


Using Your Preferred Browser


You can access CxPlanner through your preferred browser on your iPhone. Simply open Safari, navigate to the CxPlanner website, and log in. All features will function as intended.


Creating a Dedicated App Shortcut


Another option is to create a shortcut that simulates the CxPlanner app. Follow these steps:


  1. Open Safari on your iPhone.
  2. Navigate to the CxPlanner login page
  3. Tap the share icon (usually located at the bottom center) on the browser.
  4. Choose "Add to Home Screen" from the options.
  5. Name the shortcut (e.g., CxPlanner) and tap "Add."
  6. Now, you have a shortcut on your home screen that provides quick access to CxPlanner, mimicking the app experience.
