Create custom tasks groups for better overview

Overview: create custom groups in the punch list

In Punch list items and Tasks, you can create custom groups and a group hierarchy by column values such as system, zone, or status, which is used when you want a clearer personal overview of punch list items and tasks.

Grouping is a personal view setting and does not change what other users see.

  • Your role can be any user with access to Punch list items and Tasks.
  • You can find grouping by right-clicking a column header and choosing Create new group.
  • This changes only your punch list layout. It does not change task data or exports for others.

All users with access to Punch list items and Tasks can create and manage their own group views.

How to create a single group

  1. Open Punch list items and Tasks.
  2. Right-click the column header you want to group by.
  3. Select Create new group.
