How do I import a PDF checklist into CxPlanner?
You can import a PDF checklist directly into CxPlanner and convert it into a usable template. This makes it easier to standardize workflows and reuse existing documents.
When and why to use this
Importing a PDF checklist is useful when you already have predefined forms or documentation in PDF format and want to use them as interactive checklists in CxPlanner.
- When your current checklists are in PDF
- When you have received PDF checklists from the owner or contractor
- The system automatically extracts line items from the PDF into editable fields
- Limitations: formatting errors in the PDF may cause extraction issues
How to - step by step
- Navigate to Template Center.
- In the Template Center, select Import Files on the right side.
- Choose Import PDF Checklist from the available file types.
- Drag and drop your PDF file into the upload area, or click to browse and select it.
- Click Upload and Copy to start the upload.
- Review the extracted template details - including name, category, and visible fields. Check the line items created from the PDF.
- Click Import Result to finalize the checklist import.
