Create & respond to registrations using voice input (Iphone)
Overview: voice input for tasks on iPhone
On mobile devices, you can use your keyboard microphone to dictate text into the comment field of a task or punch list item, which is used when you are on site and need to reply without typing.
CxPlanner stores only the transcribed text, not an audio file. Desktop keyboards are not the intended path.
Any user who can comment on a task can use this.
- You can find the action at Task - comment field - mobile keyboard microphone.
- This adds a text comment on the task.
What happens during voice input
- Your device converts speech to text in the comment field
- You can review and edit the text before sending
- CxPlanner saves only the final text on the task
- The microphone control comes from your mobile keyboard and can look different by keyboard settings
