Export project tasks

Overview

How do I export project tasks?

You can export all visible tasks from a project at any time, choosing the format that best suits your needs.

All users that have been assigned to tasks can perform this action.

When and why to use this

Exporting tasks allows you to share, archive, or work with your project data outside the platform. This is useful for reporting, client communication, or offline review.

  • Use this when you need a copy of all or filtered tasks.
  • The export will include only the tasks currently visible in your table view.
  • You can choose between PDF or Excel (XLSX) formats.
  • PDF exports support multiple page sizes (A4, A3, Letter, Tabloid).

Guide - How to export tasks

  1. Navigate to the Punchlist items & tasks in your project. Apply any filters or search terms to show only the tasks you want to export and then click Menu.
  2. Select Export to PDF & XLSX
  3. Choose the desired output format (PDF or XLSX).

Behavior and results

The export process follows the principle “You See What You Get” — only tasks currently visible in your table view are included in the export. Filters and searches directly control the export content.
