Resend a confirmation email in CxPlanner

Confirmation emails are sent automatically when a new user is added to CxPlanner, and can go missing due to spam filtering, an incorrect email address, or a company mail security system blocking messages from @cxplanner.com. This guide covers troubleshooting a missing confirmation email and how an admin resends one from Company Settings.

Resending a confirmation email on someone else's behalf requires the company role Admin.

If a confirmation email hasn't arrived

Work through these in order before resending:

  1. Check the spam or junk folder - confirmation emails are sometimes filtered automatically depending on the recipient's mail provider rules.
  2. Confirm the email address was entered correctly when the user was added - a single typo sends the email to the wrong inbox with no bounce visible in CxPlanner.
  3. Ask the user's company IT or mail security team whether @cxplanner.com is blocked or quarantined - common with strict corporate mail filters, especially for first-time senders from a new domain.

If none of these explain it, try to resend the email.

Resend a confirmation email

  1. Click on you Profile icon.
  2. Open the Users tab.
  3. Find the user who hasn't received their confirmation email and click Edit.
  4. Use the resend action next to their name.

Example: a subcontractor added to a project doesn't receive their invite because their company's mail filter flagged @cxplanner.com as an unrecognized external sender. Once their IT team allowlists the domain, the admin resends the confirmation and the user receives it normally.

If the issue persists after resending

If the user still hasn't received the email after checking spam, verifying the address, ruling out mail security blocking, and resending please contact our support.
